London, Sep 21 (ANI): Rolling Stone star Ronnie Wood is trying to win back his wife Jo, who at the moment is far too busy with her own life to give him any thought.

Jo, 54, who took part in a new series of Strictly Come Dancing, is said to have moved on ever since “the love of her life”, Ronnie, 62, broke her heart by shacking up with Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova, who is 42 years his junior.

“Jo has got her act together and is far too busy reinventing herself as a celebrity in her own right to be bothered patching up a marriage that, to be honest, was already six feet under thanks to his relentless boozing,” the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

She is all set to “do a Jerry Hall”, it is claimed, by forging a new career as a “Stones Widow”.

She has revived her modelling career, is building an international profile for her cosmetics company Jo Wood Organics, and has launched herself as a TV star.

A lucrative deal for her autobiography is also said to be on the table.

A friend revealed that it was when Jo filed for divorce that Ronnie “came to his senses”.

“He suddenly realised he is about to lose pretty much everything he has ever worked for,” the friend said.

The latest news on the figure Jo’s lawyers are seeking in the divorce, if it happens, is 18.5million pounds.

“To my mind, she’d be bonkers to take him back, although she might in spite of herself, because she does actually still love him to bits,” a pal of hers said.

“I watched her fussing over him for nearly 30 years. He’s like an incontinent kid without her.

“On the road, she did all the packing and unpacking, sorted his gear, washed his smalls in hotel basins, did his stage make-up, got him out of bed and on stage on time - no mean feat, let me tell you.

“And she was even nice to all the little groupies. He wouldn’t know what to think about without her around. He barely knows how to think,” the pal added. (ANI)
