Ronnie Wood wants Rolling Stones to headline Glastonbury next year
December 21st, 2010 - 2:13 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Dec 21 (ANI): Guitarist Ronnie Wood has said that he would love to headline next year’s Glastonbury festival with the rest of the Rolling Stones.
The rocker said he is itching to get back with the group - who have been hotly tipped to kick off a tour in 2011, ahead of expected 50th anniversary celebrations in 2012 - for the first time in three years next summer.
“I’d love to do it. I’m always up for the festivals,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
“As far as the Stones are concerned, we haven’t had a get together for three years but it’s high time,” he added. (ANI)
