Ronnie Wood turns painter
October 31st, 2011 - 1:44 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Oct 31 (IANS) Singer Ronnie Wood will show off his painting skills at an exhibition dedicated to his artwork.
The 64-year-old will showcase 100 pieces at The Gallery in Cork Street, reports femalefirst.co.uk. The six-day exhibition, “Ronnie Wood’s Faces, Time and Places”, will start Nov 7.
“People don’t know that I’m an artist. Playing music as part of a team effort is wonderful, but to express individuality as an artist is very personal. Art is more powerful, a more personal statement,” Wood told Britain’s Observer newspaper.
