Ronnie Wood ‘helps son through rehab’
December 31st, 2010 - 2:27 pm ICT by ANILondon, Dec 31 (ANI): Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood has apparently extended his support to son Jesse who is battling his personal demons in rehab.
The veteran guitarist, who has endured seven stints in treatment centres over the last 30 years, is currently six months sober after giving up alcohol and drugs.
Wood said that Jesse helped him through the tough times, and in return is backing his son’s own efforts to turn his life around.
“Jesse’s going through rehab. We’re helping each other out. I’m over six months clean and good with it,” the Daily Star quoted him as telling Uncut magazine.
“Boredom is a killer as is the idea that I can always have just one drink. Once I got rid of that, I could take my life back and be more focused at everything, my music and my painting,” he added. (ANI)
