Ronnie Wood ‘has given up boozing’
October 1st, 2010 - 5:44 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct 1 (ANI): Rolling Stone’s Ronnie Wood has revealed that his painting and music making have improved after giving up boozing.
The veteran rocker, who has fought with alcohol problems in recent years, has just released a new album and has continued painting.
‘I look back at some of the paintings I did when I was out of it, as it was, and they are not bad either but there is much more of a clarity in the music and the painting now that I am seven months clean, which is quite a record for me,’ the Telegraph quoted him as telling BBC Breakfast.
He said he had benefited from ‘a lot of good support’ in his battle to beat the booze. (ANI)
