Ronnie Wood congratulates dad-to-be Rod Stewart
August 13th, 2010 - 5:35 pm ICT by ANILondon, Aug 13 (ANI): English rocker Ronnie Wood and his fellow members from the band ‘Faces’ congratulated their former lead singer Rod Stewart on the news of his second baby.
The Faces members congratulated Stewart at the band intimate comeback show.
The ’70s legends performed in front of just 400 devoted fans in London, 35 years after they split.
Stewart had refused to reunite and former Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall took his place but the rockers proved that they had no hard feelings by congratulation Stewart’s impending fatherhood.
“Good luck to him, he’s a great dad. We do miss Rod but having Mick here is just unbelievable because it’s one of those situations that you probably at first think wouldn’t work but it’s magic,” The Daily Star quoted Wood as saying, before the concert at a venue in London’s O2 Arena.
Stewart had recently announced that his wife Penny Lancaster is pregnant with their second child. The baby is due in March 2011. (ANI)
