ronnieDec.19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Known as Rock n Roll’s bad girl, Ronnie Spector has plans to enthrall her fans at Philadelphia on Dec 22 with her Holiday show. Ronnie Spector has become a veteran in arranging and performing Holiday shows and she feels it runs in her blood now. Her versions of hits like “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” and ‘Frosty the Snowman’ have mesmerized thousands of viewers in festive seasons. The lady likes the festive season and it gives her thrills to perform when everyone is in a jubilant mood. She is among the few female artists belonging to the rock ‘n’ roll genre, who have been successful in defining an era. Her stage presence is said to have a strange blend of sexuality and innocence.

During the 1960s, she along with Nedra Talley, her cousin and sibling Estelle Bennett churned out a number of pop hits. Some of the most memorable ones are “The Best Part of Breaking Up”, “Do I Love You” and “I Can Hear Music”. They made it to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame two years back. However, the lady is still unwilling to talk about her ex-spouse Phil Spector who allegedly kept her musical skills confined. She poured her heart out in her autobiography titled “Be My Baby: How I Survived Mascara, Miniskirts and Madness” that came out in 1989.

However, the days of sadness are over for her and she came out of the gloominess after Phil Spector was found guilty of a murder and given 19 years of imprisonment. Ronnie Spector is now 66 and her position in the history of rock n roll is secured. She feels happy about the fact that her fans still play her songs and their children also love the tracks.
