alg_ron_isleyNov 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The “Soul Train Music Awards 2010″ took place on November 10, and was aired on BET this Sunday. With that, people started searching for each and every person who was involved with the show. The person who probably gained the maximum footage that day was Ronald Isley, who was honored in the award ceremony for his celebrated R&B career and his solo performance which is rather a blue moon sight.

This year, the function featured some of the ace singers and artists like Ron Isley and Anita Baker, who were honored with a special tribute. Steve Harvey and Ronald Isley performed on the track “Between the sheets”. The Soul Music Awards also saw the performance of Erykah Badu, R. Kelly, Michael Baisden, Jazmine Sullivan, Eric Bent, Kid Capri, Fonzworth Bentley, Bruno Mars, Just Blaze, Chilli and many more. The show opened with Mr R. Kelly’s performance who grooved the audiences with a nine minutes medley performance with a blend of “Bump N’ Grind,” “Your Body is Calling,” “When A Woman’s Fed Up,” “Happy People,” and “When a Woman Loves”. With the support of some sensuous female dancers in body suits, Ne-Yo was at his best to give a hot musical treat with his “Champagne Life/One In A Million”. Bruno Mars gave the first stage performance on his latest single called “Grenade”, while Cee Lo Green went a bit more aggressive while singing “F*ck You”.

However, the last show stealer was Erykah Badu, not because of her song, but because of her finny dress and even funnier gesture of crawling on the floor for no reasons, while singing “Window Seat”. There were 3.9 Million total viewers, from 2.7 million households, that earned an impressive 3.18 coverage rating. The ceremony will once again be aired on Saturday, December 4 at 8:00 P.M. and Sunday, December 5 at 10:00 P.M on Centric.
