Feb 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The popularity and acceptance of the American television series “24″ has made actor Kiefer Sutherland enthusiastic to make it into a movie. A reputed media outlet reported that Kiefer Sutherland was discussing with ace director Ron Howard about the “24 movie”. However, neither Ron Howard nor Kiefer Sutherland has commented anything about the media. On the other hand, the media outlets are abuzz with the news that Ron Howard might direct the movie.

A reputed media entity reported that Kiefer Sutherland went on a dinner with Ron Howard where he discussed about the project. The eyewitnesses, reportedly, said that Kiefer Sutherland was excited about what and how much more he could do in the movie to attract audience and media. The actor, reportedly, also spoke about how much they could do to make the movie “24″ different from the television series. An onlooker said that both Ron Howard and Kiefer Sutherland’s lunch lasted for a long time, as they were busy discussing about the movie. The waiters of the restaurant also said that the stars were friendly with them.

Kiefer Sutherland became a household name for playing the role of Jack Bauer on the Fox thriller drama series “24″. The actor has also received Emmy Award and Golden Globe award for his commendable performance in the television series. Kiefer Sutherland previously told a reputed media outlet that he would start shooting for the film sometime later this year. In one of his interviews in January, the actor said that it is a difficult thing to take something one has done for years and then choose a story to make a complete unique movie.
