Romanitza to make a comeback to Couture Fashion Week

August 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Award-winning couture fashion designer from Romania, Romanita Caludia Iovan will return to Couture Fashion Week New York the 10th of September this year. She would make her comeback with the presentation of her newest collection. The fashion show will be held in the renowned Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on the Park Avenue.
Known professionally as Romanitza, this maverick designer made her debut at the popular Couture Fashion Week a few years back. She debuted with a fascinating runway show at the world-famous St. Regis Hotel, since then she hasn’t looked back. She returned to demonstrate her designs in New York City on quite a few occasions.
Romanitza is a former fashion model and she launched her fashion house in the year 1991. The fashion label real soon became one of the most successful in whole of Romania, and Romanitza’s incomparable style and employment ethic assisted her to create her status as an exceedingly creative and talented designer and business woman.
The superb quality and refined air of her designs have earned her characteristic runway shows a particular admiration and credit.
In the year 1993, Romanitza was invited by the RYTO or the Romanian Youth Travel Office to be a part of government-sponsored tourism promotion to be used in the United Arab Emirates, with a set of Arab-inspired pret-a-porter. The next year, Romanitza won the first prize at the National Fashion Festival in Romania, and real soon, she became the first ever Romanian designer who was invited to open an exclusive showroom at the World Trade Plaza in Bucharest, Romania.
