Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood arrested

London, Dec 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has been arrested on suspicion of assault, Surrey police have confirmed the news. However he was released on bail after questioning on Thursday. Surrey police said that the 62-year-old rock star Ronnie Wood was arrested in Claygate, Surrey in southern England on suspected assault in connection with a domestic incident.
He was released till January, because the inquiries are still pending. Wood’s spokesman added: “I can confirm that there was an incident last night and that Ronnie Wood was arrested. We have no further statement to make at this time.”
Ronnie Wood had separated from his wife Jo in 2008 and their divorce was formally sealed in court last month when he admitted that he had committed adultery in court.
The couple had been married for a record 24 years and they had two children too. In July 2008, Ronnie was admitted to a rehabilitation center for help with his long-established alcohol addiction.
