rogerNew York, May 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Roger Ebert who happens to be an eminent movie critic has recently declared that he would be writing his memoir. Reportedly, the movie critic said that he shall try his best to accumulate all factoids of his life in his new book. The title of the memoir is yet to be decided but the book is expected to hit the stands by Fall 2011.

The memoir shall give a sharp insight to all readers about Robert Ebert’s life and his career. It shall also relate the struggle of the movie critic against thyroid cancer which has taken a heavy toll upon the man. Not only did the disease keep him away from his work, but the cancer also snatched away his ability to talk. Roger Ebert plans to depict all major events of his life in his book. The memoir shall also focus upon Roger Ebert’s friend Gene Siskel,a prominent TV Host who passed away way back in the year of 1999.

After cancer left him speechless, Roger Ebert has newly employed his computerized voice that helps him to talk. As a matter of fact, he first made use of the “synthesized voice” when he appeared on the “Oprah Winfrey Show” earlier this year. The man still pens down his critical notes for “Chicago Sun Times” and has also joined in the social networking bandwagon through an active profile in “Twitter”. Mitch Hoffman who happens to be the editor of Grand Central Publishing told the media that they are very excited about the whole thing and are looking forward to the day when Roger Ebert comes to the conclusion of his memoir.
