Comedian Rodney Carington is scheduled to perform in the Metro Goldwyn Meyer theater from July 30 - August 12, 2009. The performance will be held from 10 p.m onwards. Carrington returns to the Theater once again for live performance.

The tickets for the performance will be priced at $ 74.50 inclusive of taxes. The tickets will be available at MGM Grand box offices and Las Vegas Ticketmaster counters. The guests should be atleast 18 years old to get an entry in to the theater for the performance. Tickets will also be available for booking over the phone at (800) 929- 1111 or (702) 891- 7777. Rodney Carrington has been touring across America and performing his stand up comedy and songs for a span of almost 15 years . He has released several chart topping albums. He debuted with his hit album “I” in 1998. “I” is estimated to have sold over 475, 000 copies. The album helped Carrington usurp the throne of king of middle class comedy. With his trademark cowboy boots, hats, leather, Texas drawl, he captured the middle class market with ease.

In the next few years he released 4 more albums that clinched a spot in the top 10 slot. The numbers still get often played on airwaves in both country and rock segments. Carrington also had a show in his name that was featured on ABC. It was a major comedy named “Rodney” that ran on the network from 2004 to 2006.

Carrington’s latest album is “King of the Mountains”. It is a compilation of a live recording of his stand up routine and 5 song tracks, of which one is live. The track, “My Angel Friend” is included in the album.
