Los Angeles, Sep 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rodney Allen Rippy was rushed to the Trauma Unit after he developed breathing problems as a result of a motorbike crash on Monday. The crash happened near Rippy’s North Carolina home.

The former ad star refused to see the doctor after he was thrown to at least ten feet into the sky from his dirt bike after a crash. Rippy endured a hard fall on the ground and he was not aware at that time that he had life threatening internal injury.

Doctors say that 42 years old Rippy had a punctured lung and broken ribs as a result of the crash but they maintain that he is not in danger anymore. He is expected to recover from the injuries.

Dirt bikes remain dangerous and Rippy is lucky to still be alive after crashing so hard.

Rippy is well known for his appearances in the commercials “Jack-in-the Box” in the 1970s. He also made some brief appearance in the movie “Blazing Saddles”. Rippy is no more into acting but he has stayed in the entertainment industry as writer and producer. Lets hope he recovers soon from this accident.
