Rod Stewart Speaks About His Daughter Sarah Streeter

Oct 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Last Thursday famous singer and songwriter Rod Stewart opened up about his biological daughter Sarah Stewart on “The Joy Behar Show”. The father of seven told in his interview that he had to put up his daughter for adoption as he was broke and did not have money to fulfill the basic need of a family. “An Old Raincoat Won’t Ever Let You Down” singer told in his interview that he was only 17 or 18 year old when he put up his daughter for adoption.
Rod Stewart told in his interview that he contacted his daughter Sarah Stewart after her adoptive parents passed away. The singer said that presently they are working on their relationship and after they have reunited. Rod Stewart also said that he never felt like Sarah Stewart’s father as he could not perform the duties of a father when she was young. The former member of “Faces” band said that there was no “parental” thing there before but he is trying to revive his relationship with his daughter.
Sarah Stewart, on the other expressed her feelings to a reputed media source last week where she said that she came to know about her biological father. She said in her interview that she was no angry but was “just sad”. However, she also said that she is now older to see things differently and she has realized that it has been different for her father over the years as it was for him. She seemed happy when she said that presently she feels “wonderful” as she has started a new chapter in her life.
