Rod Stewart Plans On Creating Soul Touching Magic With His Album “SOULBOOK”

Oct 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rod Stewart, the singer who revisited the cult song “Have I Told You Lately” hopes to create his soul touching magic once again with his new album “SOULBOOK“. Rod Stewart has been making the news recently with his tour of twenty cities across North America earlier this year.
According to Rod, “Soulbook” is the album that he wanted to compose all his life. The album is due to be released on 27th October. Rod is planning a tour next year to accompany his new release. The father of seven, said that he couldn’t put of the album any longer. “I was very frightened of doing it, because as I say in the liner notes, these are the guys I looked up to and admired all my life. It was a big step,” commented Rod on the album which contains duets with Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson. The car lover even declared in an interview that he had tears in his eyes as he heard Otis Redding perform. The album is a compilation also featuring “Tracks of My Tears” and “My Cherie Amour”, with Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder respectively.
When asked by sources he also revealed that in future he may even have plans of making more TV appearances (he appeared on American Idol as a mentor some years ago). He’ll be seen doing “Dancing With The Stars and UK based “Strictly Come Dancing”.
Rod has won several awards in his lifetime’s work including the highly acclaimed Grammy Award and The Diamond Award. He has also been inducted Rock and Roll Hall of Fame(1994) and The UK Music Hall of Fame(2006).
