Mar 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rod Blagojevich sat down on an interview with Greta Van Susteren, a correspondent with Fox News, just prior to the airing of the first episode of the 9th season of the popular show The Apprentice, which is also, incidentally, the 3rd season of the show The Celebrity Apprentice, which is the name that Donald Trump, the producer of the series, changed the title to after he tweaked the format to include a star-studded cast. One of the stars to be included in the show this time is Rod Blagojevich, the former Governor of Illinois.
Needless to say, he is the one who is probably drawing the maximum amount of interest, considering the criminal charges that are attached to his name at present. In the interview, Greta Van Susteren talked to Rod Blagojevich about his removal from the post of the Governor of Illinois, in reply to which he said that the whole issue had been a case of misinterpretation. He insisted that he had actually asked Rahm Emanuel to act as the middle man to broker a deal about the Senate seat, insisting that the interest had been purely political and not for personal or financial gain.
In the first episode of the show, Rod Blagojevich seemed to have become the butt of jokes for all others. In one instance, when he had to establish and run successfully a diner during lunchtime, the former Governor was ridiculed by Curtis Stone, the celebrity chef, who commented that it as indeed rather hilarious to see a former Governor donning a weird hat. Moreover, he also goofed up by serving cold food.
