Dec 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Shimit Amin directed and Aditya Chopra produced ‘Rocket Singh Salesman of the Year‘ is a much awaited movie of 2009. Ranbir Kapoor stars in the film portraying the role of a young salesman. The plot of the film revolves around Ranbir Kapoor who portrays the character of a Punjabi youth named Harpreet Singh Bedi. The film depicts how a youth who fails to make it through to the mainstream engineering or medical field excels in the sales arena.

As a young and energetic professional, he dreamed to make his mark in the field of sales and had several aspirations when he started his professional career. Yet, after getting into the sales world he realized that his observation of the professional world was a reverie and did not have any similarity with real life. Arguments with bosses and other professionals made his life different from what he expected. The film picks up from this point and portrays his struggle in the sales world and how he overcomes the obstacles one by one. Though the film narrates the miserable condition of Harpreet Singh Bedi as a salesman, it evokes laughter among the audience.

The comedy movie, ‘Rocket Singh Salesman of the Year’ is expected to be appreciated by the audience. It is assumed that the new look of Ranbir Kapoor as a typical Punjabi man will attract his fans. Music of the tracks scored by Salim and Sulaiman Merchant has already gained popularity among the Indians. The film is expected to do well in the box office as reported by the sources.
