Rock singer and reality TV personality Bret Michaels in critical condition
April 24th, 2010 - 5:53 am ICT by BNO NewsLOS ANGELES (BNO NEWS) — Rock singer and reality TV personality Bret Michaels was in critical condition in the intensive care unit of a hospital on Friday, according to CNN.
Michaels’ publicist, Joann Mignano, confirmed a report from People.com to CNN. “We will have no additional information until further testing is done,” Mignano was cited as saying.
People.com quoted a source close to the singer as saying Michaels suffered a massive brain hemorrhage. The source said Michaels was rushed to a hospital after an ‘excruciating headache’ late Thursday.
Michaels, 47, was the lead singer for the ’80s glam-metal “hair band” Poison. He became a reality star by headlining the VH1 show “Rock of Love with Bret Michaels.”
