robwilliamsriddler July 3, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Robin Williams is one of the illustrious American actors and comedians. He has recently articulated his eagerness to participate in the impending ‘Batman’ motion picture by Christopher Nolan.

Williams uttered to the Empire Magazine that he would delightedly enact any character in Batman. On being quizzed about his preferred character, Williams declared that he would be happy to render a ‘Batman’ baddie.

Robin Williams has historically been connected, albeit in a roundabout way, with the Batman films. However, he has never starred in one of them. Williams was once a candidate for the character of The Joker in the 1989 edition of Batman by Tim Burton. However, the character was, in due course, bequeathed to Jack Nicholson.

Conjecture later on had it that Williams was destined to be the Riddler in the 1995 film, Batman Forever. Nonetheless, at the end of the day, Jim Carrey obtained that role.

Robin Williams has received international fame for his likable characters in films such as ‘Mrs. Doubtfire,’ ‘Jumanji,’ ‘Flubber’ and ‘Night at the Museum’.
