Robin Williams Debuts On Broadway With ‘Bengal Tiger At The Baghdad Zoo’

‘Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo’ was first played at the Center Theater Group in Los Angeles; the Center Theater Group also being the producers of the New York show. The play begins at a time when the United States launched an invasion on Iraq. The Bengal Tiger in the play roams around the city of Baghdad in Iraq in his quest for the answer to the question ‘What is Life’? But the answer that he receives is war and the benefits which come from warring. As the play progresses, both Americans and Iraqis are shown seeking redemption and want to be friends again!
‘Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo’ has been nominated in the final stages of the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and will start playing in New York in the month of March next year.
