Robin Thicke introduced his fans to his new single “Sidestep” as he performed the song in the results night of “Dancing with the Stars” show. Along with this song Thicke also performed his hit number, “When I Get You Alone”. Most of Robin Thicke’s fans will know that he has won a Grammy Award and other than being a great singer, he has written songs, composed music and has even acted occasionally. Thicke is mostly famous for his R&B compositions. In fact, his albums have already sold two million copies in the US alone. Thike’s performance was accentuated by excellent choreography.
On Tuesday’s show all the remaining contestants, Lil’ Kim, Ty Murray, Gilles Marini, Shawn Johnson, Chuck Wicks and Melissa Rycroft, were waiting with bated breath under extreme suspense. Through his performance Robin Thike tried to entertain the contestants and the audience and release some tension. However, at the end of the day it was time for Chuck Wicks to leave along with his partner and girlfriend, Julianne Hough.
“When I Get You Alone” was Robin Thike’s debut single in 2002, the song was a part of his 2003 debut studio album, The song samples Walter Murphy’s “A Fifth of Beethoven”. This number was a great hit, it reached the top 20 on singles charts in several countries. “Sidestep” is from Robin’s third studio album, Something Else. At 32, robin was able to reach the hearts of the viewers with his performance on “Dancing with the Stars”. Critics now seriously believe that he is gradually coming out of his father’s shadow and is penning down some great music.
