Nov.11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American television broadcaster Robin Roberts is all set to interview pop icon Janet Jackson for the ABC network. The show, which has been titled “In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson,” would witness an extremely private Janet, in a candid conversation with Robin. The one hour exclusive show is scheduled to be screened on November 18.
Speculations are running high regarding the show, as this would supposedly be one of the first comprehensive media appearance of the pop star since the death of her musical icon brother, Michael Jackson. The show is expected to be all the more special, as this would be the first time that Janet has given permission for cameras to be allowed in her home at Malibu.
However, until the Jackson interview goes on air, Robin kept her audiences entertained, as she interviewed country music stars in her show “In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Bright Lights. Big Stars. All Access Nashville”. The show was aired on Tuesday on the ABC network and was immensely enjoyed by all the viewers. It featured music artists Martina McBride, Tim McGraw and Carrie Underwood in conversation with Robin Roberts, where they talked at lengths about their personal as well as professional lives. The show starring the country singers attracted many eye balls as it came a day before the Country Music Awards are supposed to be held.
Robin is a well known personality in television circuit, who co-hosts the popular news morning show “Good Morning America”. The 49 year old television personality became part of the show since 2005 and since then has been associated with it.
