Jan 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Comedian Robert Schimmel was scheduled to appear in the Howard stern Show recently. This is not the first time that he has appeared on the popular radio show. However, the last time he did, he had been a relatively spotless persona, without the charges of domestic abuse slapped on him. In fact, in his latest appearance, that is what he talked about, his bitter divorce with his wife Melissa Schimmel and also his battle against the deadly disease of cirrhosis of liver.

Robert Schimmel, on his appearance in “The Howard Stern Show,” was candid about all the matters that have been bugging him of late, and have constantly kept him under the watchful eyes of the paparazzi. He had been arrested on the charges of domestic violence in May of last year, and that had subsequently resulted in a very public and bitter divorce. In “The Howard Stern Show,” the comedian came clear with the real facts of the divorce, stressing that he had never practiced violence on his wife, and that the whole matter had issued after she found out that he had planted a recording device in her car.

Robert Schimmel admitted that he had done so in order to find out if she was cheating on him. On being asked by the host of the show if he felt he had wronged his wife in any way, he replied that he did not feel so. He further confessed that he is currently awaiting a liver transplant. At the end of the show, Howard Stern sympathized with his guest, commenting that he did not deserve to go through all that he had.
