Robert Redford stresses on optimism at Sundance Film FestivalJanuary 17th, 2009 - 6:29 pm ICT by ANI
Washington, Jan 17 (ANI): American actor Robert Redford, who was at the opening of the 25th annual Sundance Film Festival, laid stress on the fact that people should be optimistic even during the ongoing economic crisis.
Referring to the upcoming US presidential inauguration, he told the audience that they needed to be optimistic about the future no matter what came next.
All right. Nerves. Angst. Worries. Pain. Panic. Fear. Im not talking about the festival, although you might think I was. Im talking about whats going to be exiting the national stage on Tuesday, Fox News quoted him as saying.
Change is in the air. Change is, of course, inevitable. It could bring good times. It could bring bad times.
Theres no reason to think the times coming have to be so filled with dread that we cant look for some sport of optimism and hope.
Theres always some space for opportunity. Im thinking this could be a very inspiring time for artists, he added. (ANI)
