pabSep 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) This is a piece of news that would surely be welcomed by all the die-hard fans of famed Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant. The legendary musical artist has been in the news lately for his association with a brand new group which has been titled Band of Joy based on the name of his very first band way back in the 1960’s. His large number of fans in United Kingdom got the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the new musical group last Wednesday when the band performed at a disused church in front of hundreds of music-lovers.

During the performance, the Band of Joy played some of their tracks which are scheduled to be released in their studio album when it hits stores later this month. The band with Brandy Miller as the guitarist and country singer Patty Griffin performed five tracks one after the other that left that crowd absolutely enthralled. However, when the audiences were just getting into groove with the songs, to their utter dismay the band called it a day and the music-lovers had to be content with the five songs that Band of Joy performed during the much-anticipated musical event. Some of the sound tracks that really stood out were ‘Monkey’ as well as the lead single Angel Dance’ from their upcoming album.

Although industry experts feel that the tracks of the yet-to-released album would not do much to please the ardent followers Led Zeppelin who hope for a reunion, the songs are a good mix that is sure to win the appreciation of many music-lovers.
