Los Angeles, Mar 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson has revealed in a very candid interview, that he used to get beaten up as a kid. He also revealed that he didn’t have a very peaceful upbringing, and was also quite unpopular, amongst his peers. He says that a number of people used to bash him up, in his early years, and the reason might have been because he had an idiotic streak in him.

After he became an actor, then he had some preconceived notions about how an actor ought to behave, so he behaved in that manner. But that also provoked a lot of people, and the hitting didn’t stop, even though he had became a star and a recognizable figure.

In a candid interview with the Parade magazine, Robert Pattison said, “We had this big scene (in new film ‘Remember Me’), where I punch out some guys. It went fine and nobody was really hurt at all. But, at the end, I was like doing this thing where I was hitting myself in the arm, sort of pumping myself up. They cut it out of the movie, but I punched myself so hard that I was in a lot of pain for the rest of the shoot. It was the most stupid thing I’ve ever done.”
