A news has been around for quite a while that Twilight star Robert Pattinson is not dating Kristen Stewart rather he is secretly engaged to another lady.

A source has reportedly spread this news to some sections of the media. The source says, “They’ve had an on and off relationship that became more “on” and serious over the past year. He’s been afraid for her safety, which is why every single person who works with him has to sign these detailed confidentiality agreements agreeing to never talk about his personal life, and his handlers and him have gone to extreme lengths to make sure they’re never seen together, and every time they are together it is set up in such great detail that you’d think it was the secret service and he was the President.” It is also supposed that Pattinson has secretly proposed to his lady love recently on her birthday.

On the other hand Kristen and Stewart are promoting themselves as couples off screen. The New York Daily News reports that the two were seen together in a Hotel Cafe in LA on Thursday night. The next night they partied with friends at the chateau Marmont. The duo were photographed together separately stepping out onto one of the hotel balconies the next morning.

It is really difficult to believe this story about Pattinson’s other “secret” girlfriend. But if it were true then what stand does Kristen has in Pattinson’s life? Are they just friends or is their real-life romance just a cheap publicity-hype for their upcoming flick “Eclipse” the sequel to “Twilight” and “New Moon”.
