Melbourne, Apr 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor Robert Pattinson is reported to play Kurt Cobain in a new Hollywood biopic. The ‘Twilight’ actor Robert is going to play the Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain, according to ‘The Sun’. Apparently the biopic is being made in conjunction with Kurt’s widow – Courtney Love. She is going to be a crucial part of the production house’s effort to make an honest biopic on the late singer, who had committed suicide in 1994, by shooting himself.

Courtney Love said that the best person to play Kurt Cobain would be Robert Pattinson, and she wanted the 25 years old actress Scarlett Johansson to portray her. According to some sources, Courtney is neck deep in the project, because it is also a financial land mine for her. According to a source, “This is a big money deal for Courtney. She has agreed to the film on condition that she gets to decide the main aspects of the project including director, casting, screenplay and music. Robert has been calling and emailing her non-stop. She has been a bit wound up by his manners, but he is her number one choice to play Kurt. She is adamant Scarlett will play her. Scarlett is friendly with Frances Bean, her daughter with Kurt.”
