Los Angeles, May 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson created a stir when he publicly displayed his new hair-do. He appeared on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ bereft of his wild locks. His new look was slick and was closely cropped. He has very short hair on his sides and also on the back of his head. And there is some volume on the top of his head.

He said on the show that he was forced to have his hair chopped off, because of a medical problem. He had developed nits and thus needed to get a closely cropped haircut. However later he also added that the new look was for a film. He said that, “It’s three days old. I got a terrible infestation of nits and had to shave it all off. No, I’m doing a film.”

The movie is titled ‘Water for Elephants’ and his co-star for the movie is none other than the Legally Blonde actress Resse Witherspoon. The filming of the movie would start in Los Angeles, and the movie would also star Christoph Waltz.

It also looks like Robert is following in the footsteps of Janet Jackson, who had also gotten a makeover and in her latest avatar she is sporting very short hair.
