Robert Downey Jr. to star in musical
December 7th, 2010 - 2:22 pm ICT by ANILondon, Dec 7 (ANI): It looks like Robert Downey Jr. is all set to show off his song and dance skills in a big screen musical.
The ‘Iron Man’ star has reportedly signed up for a lead role in a currently untitled film about a pair of Broadway songwriters who take jobs at a theatre camp after their musical flops, reports the Daily Express.
The Tony Award-winning team behind Broadway hit ‘Next to Normal’ will write the music for the new movie.
Downey Jr. has previously contributed to several of his film’s soundtracks, including ‘Chaplin and The Singing Detective’ and also released an album in 2004 called ‘The Futurist’. (ANI)
