Robert Downey Jr. receives film honour

The 45-year-old attended an event Saturday at the city’s Ritz Carlton Hotel, where he was presented with The Gene Siskel Film Center’s Renaissance Award as a token for his contribution to cinema, reports imdb.com.
“(Downey Jr. is) one of the most respected and versatile actors of his generation,” said a representative of the organisation.
