Robert De Niro Speaks About His Experience On ‘Little Fockers’

little_fockersDec 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) He is mostly known for playing dark, intense roles but Hollywood’s veteran actor Robert De Niro says that he feels very comfortable in doing comedy roles since he enjoys his performance. The Oscar-winning actor is set to show his acting prowess for the 3rd time as Jack Byrnes, the grumpy father-in-law in ‘The Little Fockers’, as reported by a reliable source. “Little Fockers” was premiered in Midtown at the Ziegfeld Theatre on Thursday night. The 3rd movie in the Fockers series stars Robert De Niro. The actor said that he was very happy with the success that the earlier movies of the same series have got. Robert De Niro’s on-screen nemesis is portrayed by Ben Stiller. The movie stars the gorgeous Jessica Alba as well. She called her role “awesome.” Once again Terry Polo plays Stiller’s on-screen wife.

The 67-year-old actor said that they have great fun in shooting the movie, and enjoyed every bit of it. There are less restrictions and constrictions while acting in a comedy. The ‘Taxi Driver’ star was also very amused about the fact that Harvey Keitel, his old friend was cast in the movie as a contractor who was hired by his hapless son-in-law on screen. Robert De Niro went on to say that when there are different people having unique working styles, then it gets very interesting to work with those people, and that is exactly what Harvey is like. The actor regarded his experience as ‘terrific”.

Meanwhile, actor Ben Stiller declared that the 4th film of the series ‘Meet the Parents’ has already been penned down. He plans to start filming that in 2011 starring comedian Will Ferrell.
