April 25th, 2011 - 11:58 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Apr 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor Robert De Niro isn’t too happy with the allegations that Donald Trump has leveled on US President Barack Obama. It ought to be mentioned that Robert De Niro had extended support to President Barack Obama in the 2008 Presidential elections. And now Donald Trump is a possible candidate for the upcoming Presidential elections and one of his main issues is the birth place of the current US President.
In an interview with NBC News’ Brian William, Robert said that, “How did we get to this point? … This is crazy. And I know Obama was trying to bridge the gap. His intentions are really good. Maybe some things are not as good as we all would like, but his intentions were right. A lot of these guys, they’re intentions are not even good. They’re just playing the game. And they’re playing with people’s lives.”
He was speaking to Brian at the Tribeca Film Festival of which he is also one of the co-founders. He blasted Trump and said that he ought to get his facts right before making such claims in the public.
