Robbie Williams signs up Westlife, Gordon Ramsay for Soccer Aid event

London, March 23 (ANI): Singer Robbie Williams is returning again in 2010 with his the Soccer Aid event, in which professional soccer players take on celebrities.
The Angels hitmaker has signed up Irish boyband Westlife and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay for his bi-annual charity soccer tournament.
The Soccer Aid event was founded in 2006 and it raises money for UNICEF UK.
Williams is pleased he’s persuaded so many stars to sign up in the same year as the soccer World Cup, which takes place this summer (10) in South Africa.
“I am so excited Soccer Aid is back. It will be a great time for for football, with World Cup fever at boiling point,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
The tournament will take place at the U.K.’s Old Trafford ground in Manchester, England on 6 June (10) - five days before the World Cup starts. (ANI)
