London, Sep 25 (ANI): Brit singer songwriter Robbie Williams has revealed that his addiction to prescription drugs was so bad that it nearly killed him.
Williams, 35, who checked himself into rehab on his 33rd birthday in 2007, when death “came knocking”, has for the first time revealed how grim his life became during the depths of a three-year addiction.
“Robbie Williams does not go into rehab just if his life gets a bit out of control. It was damn serious. Death had to knock on my door to help me with my decision,” the Sun quoted him as saying.
“I have a self-destructive character but does this hold me back from being happy? No,” he added. (ANI)
