The buzz is that British pop Singer Robbie Williams is a sad man these days as his girlfriend Ayda Field has refused to marry him.

Sources say that the “Something Beautiful’ singer proposed to his girlfriend recently but she said “no’ because she’s scarred by her mother’s two painful divorces.

She based it all on her mom’s bitter experiences and refused to tie the knot with Robbie. She maintains that she can never endure the pain her mother had suffered while getting divorced.

A source close to the couple said, “Ayda loves Robbie with all her heart and would do anything for him apart from walk down the aisle. The topic of marriage cropped up in their first few months together, which is a huge leap on Robbie’s part he finally realised he’d met ‘The One’. He’d love a wedding. But Ayda has seen her mother divorced twice and is all too aware of the pain it’s caused. She doesn’t want to end up going the same route.”

Well, looks like Robbie needs to pray hard to make Ayda get over her phobia.
