Rob Lowe all set to write his own memoir

rob-lowe New York City, Jun 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor Rob Lowe is all set to pen his own memoir. He would write the story of his life, and the memoir is titled “Stories I only Tell My Friends.” Henry Holt and Company would publish the memoir, and it is set to be released in May 2011.

The book would talk about his experiences and his life and times, in various capacities – as a father and as an actor too.

The president of Henry Holt and Company – Stephen Rubin said that the 46-year-old Rob Lowe’s book would be “a mid-career meditation on his four decades as an actor.”

It ought to be recalled that Rob Lowe created a name for himself, when he was part of the 1983’s ‘The Outsiders.’ After that he has acted in more than 36 movies spanning over two decades. He has created a niche space for himself. He is also the star performer of the ABC drama “Brothers & Sisters” and also appeared on the NBC sitcom “Parks and Recreation” sometime back.

The 1964 born Rob Lowe is well known for his role as Sam Seaborn in ‘The West Wing’ and as Senator Robert McCallister on ‘Brothers & Sisters’.
