Wellington, Apr 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) It does seem that ‘The Hobbit’ movie production is indeed cursed. There have been problems galore with the production and the latest snag to hit is that actor Rob Kazinsky has quit the production. A reason hasn’t been specified for his exit and it has been attributed to some personal reasons.

Rob had been cast as ‘Fili’ in the epic movie and he had to portray one of the 13 dwarves who befriend Bilbo Baggins and help him to defeat dragon Smaug in the movie.

Some scenes of Rob had already been shot in New Zealand and there is quite a lot to be filmed as well. The director Peter Jackson however insists that there is nothing to worry about and he would manage. He said that Rob’s going away “will not affect ongoing filming of The Hobbit, nor will it impact work done to date, as we had yet to film much of Fili’s storyline”.

Sir Peter added that, “Rob has been terrific to work with, and his enthusiasm and infectious sense of humour will be missed by all of us. At the moment we are shooting scenes featuring Bilbo without the Dwarves, which will give us time to find a new Fili.”
