Roadside Romeo : The film review

Roadside RomeoThe Animated Hindi movie released last Friday. The started out with business of 20% on Friday and collections improved to around 30-40% over Saturday and Sunday. Roadside Romeo showed improvements in business over the weekend compared to Friday at multiplexes of big cities. The latest Yashraj Films presentation in the genre of animation films in India. The film, which has been written and directed by Jugal Hansraj also marks the entry of Walt Disney productions in the area of animation films in India. The voice dubbed by Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Javed Jaffrey.

The story is on a smart dog Romeo voiced by Saif Ali Khan who is left to survive on the streets after the family that kept him moves to London. Romeo struggles with his tough life on the streets ruled by goons, he befriends a couple of strays and begins a salon.

He spots on Laila voiced by Kareena Kapoor and falls head-over-tail in love with her. Laila wasn’t an easy catch so she challenged that pits Romeo opposite the local goon Charlie Anna voiced by Javed Jaffrey.

Charlie is an obese bully who collects his weekly in his territory and has an eye on Laila. Romeo may not be a match to Charlie’s brawn power, but he (Romeo) has brains to outwit his rival.
