London, Aug 28 (IANS) Filmmaker Guy Ritchie has said he had doubts whether his first “Sherlock Holmes” movie would work.
The 42-year-old director, who is working on the second film of the franchise titled “A Game of Shadows”, said that when he shot his first film, he was not confident about the acting abilities of stars Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr.
“I think we’re more confident that we were on the last one. I certainly feel that. I feel certainly more confident that these two can act, which I was f***ing dubious about the first time round!” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Ritchie as saying.
“I think we hit the ground running on this one. But we knew what we were doing,” he added.
