London, Dec 19 (IANS) Madonna’s hopes for peace at Christmas have been shattered after ex-hubby Guy Ritchie banned her from staying at his house. Madge, 50, hoped they could put aside their differences for one day, to have a family celebration at the country mansion they used to share.
Thesun.co.uk reports that they had agreed to put on a united front and make the day as normal as possible for children - Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight and three-year-old David. But Guy, 40, has told his ex-wife he doesn’t want her sleeping over at Ashcombe House in Wiltshire and the plans are now up in the air.
A source close to the couple said: “Guy is desperate to see the children on Christmas Day and was OK with them all spending the day at Ashcombe.”
