Mar 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The large number of viewers who tuned in to BET last night were surely in for a huge treat as the much anticipated 2010 edition of “Rip the Runway” was aired on the network last night. The show surely managed to grab immense attention as it was hosted by rapper Nicki Minaj as well as much acclaimed actor Pooch Hall. The audiences finally got the opportunity to get a glimpse of the annual fashion extravaganza of the BET network which was held late last month.

The way in which the entire event unfolded with stunning performances from a number of well known celebrities, it was definitely worth the wait for the audiences. The performers who enthralled the audiences with their amazing performances included Ludacris, Estelle, Soulja Boy, B.O.B, Janelle Monae, Roscoe Dash, Trina, among others. Meanwhile, one of the highlights of the show turned out to be the performance displayed by Ludacris who made the crowd sway to his rhythm with his latest single “My Chick Bad” and was also joined on stage by the co-host of the event, Nicki Minaj.

Apart from the performances, the event also showcased the spring and summer collections of new designers, which surely kept the crowds asking for more. The much anticipated fashion extravaganza finally reached its conclusion with a solo performance from the Young Money rapper as well as performances by Janelle Monae and Estelle. Overall, the 2010 edition of the “Rip the Runway” with its rather entertaining performances and impressive clothing line up was surely successful in fulfilling the expectations of the viewers.
