RIP Corey Haim 1971-2010: Corey Haim Dies Aged 38

Corey Haim Mar 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor Corey Haim (December 23, 1971 - March 10, 2010) has died at the age of 38. Haim is a Canadian born actor, from Toronto. His mother is Judy Haim, an Israeli born computer operator, and Bernie Haim, a salesman was his father. His interest in acting was sparked when his mother enrolled him in acting classes to help him get over his shyness.

Reports just in on Fox News out of Savannah, Ga. are confirming the death of actor Corey Haim. While the Los Angeles Police Department has officially called the death ‘accidental’ it is now being reported by a few television stations, such as KABC-TV in Los Angeles, that it may have been a drug overdose. The police was called to the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank California just before 4 am. They were brought in to investigate the death.

Corey Haim was best known for his work in the 80’s where he quickly rose to fame, becoming a teen heart throb overnight. He often starred with Corey Feldman, and the duo became known as “The Two Coreys.” Corey Haim starred in many movies and films, such as Lucas: Murphy’s Romance, The Lost Boys, License to Drive, Dream a Little Dream, and more. Most recently, Corey Haim starred alongside Carey Feldman in a reality television show called The Two Coreys. It aired from 2007 to 2008 on the A&E network.
