Ringo Starr to rock fans at his 70th b’day
January 25th, 2010 - 2:29 pm ICT by ANILondon, Jan 25 (ANI): Ringo Starr is set to hit the road on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
The former Beatle will be touring with his band The All Starr Band as he celebrates his birthday.
“Ringo’s decided to go on tour as he felt it was fitting he should be doing what he loves the most on the big day, which is performing,” the Daily Express quoted a family insider, as saying.
The source added: “He’s not holding a big lavish birthday party. It’s not his style these days. For him, still being able to perform on stage for his fans after all these years is reward enough.”
The drummer will perform at the Radio City Music Hall, New York, on the big night. (ANI)
