Ringo Starr rules out writing autobiography
June 8th, 2010 - 4:48 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 8 (ANI): Ringo Starr insists that he will never write an autobiography - because readers would only be interested in his life as a Beatle.
The drummer admits he’d rather write a song describing his youth - because recalling his upbringing in detail would be too painful as task.
“I was asked to write an autobiography. I don’t really want to because you only wanna hear about 1962 to 1970. You’re not really interested in my growing up,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
“So I can put it in song a lot easier and it’s a lot less painful,” he added. (ANI)
