May 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rima Fakih, the Miss USA 2010 winner is a pole dancer? Photos of the 24 year old girl’s pole dancing have been revealed on the internet after Rima Fakih walked home with the crown of the Miss USA pageant and have been a hot search since then. However the pole dancing pictures have triggered more controversy than fame for the former Miss Michigan.

It is not unknown that Rima Fakih hails from a Muslim family. Therefore the fact that she has won a stripping contest before attending the Miss USA contest was enough to set tongues wagging. It has been reported that Rima Fakih was the winner of the “Stripper 101″ contest back in the year 2007. The latest reports on the 24 year Miss USA also bring to light that the organizers of the Miss USA pageant got in touch with the organizers of the contest that she had won three years back in order to acquire more photos of her stripping days, but it seems that her earlier sponsors are not prepared to hand over every photograph of the stripper yet. They feel that Rima Fakih is the deserving winner of this year’s Miss USA title and what she was engaged with in the past was no reason to embarrass the girl and force her to give up the prestigious title.

Rima Fakih may be a Muslim but she says that her family also celebrates the Christian festivals. She is proud of being what she is and the people of Michigan are surely supporting her this time. They feel even if a pole dancer, Rima Fakih is the best choice for Miss USA.
