London, Nov 4 (ANI): Rihanna has revealed that she had put faith in God to help her recover from attack by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
The ‘Umbrella’ star has said that she felt so alone in the aftermath of the incident that she turned to a higher power for relief.
The R&B star’s ex-beau Brown, 20, assaulted her before the Grammy Awards kicked off in Los Angeles, and the incident grabbed headlines instantly.
While Rihanna relied on her friends and family for support, she confessed that it was her faith in God that really pulled her through the horrific ordeal.
“My friends and family have been extremely supportive, and everyone has been there for me. But at some point you are there alone. It’s a lonely place to be - no one can understand. That’s when you get close to God,’ The Daily star quoted Rihanna as telling America’s Glamour magazine. (ANI)
