Melbourne, February 16 (ANI): Rihanna has confessed there is more to her latest album Rated R than just songs, namely her anger and frustration.
The R&B singer admitted the recording process helped her overcome her emotions after she was brutally assaulted by former boyfriend Chris Brown.
“Making this album was a lot of fun I have to say, it was really good for me,” News.com.au quoted her as telling Daily Telegraph music editor Kathy McCabe.
“The vocal performances definitely were influenced by the emotion, the feeling. I wasn’t just singing lines, I was singing every word and every word meant something because it was my story. It was a lot more personal, a lot more real . . .
“I was venting,” the 22-year-old star added. (ANI)
