Rihanna, Aguilera’s gigs at ‘X Factor’ 2010 final ‘not too raunchy’

London, April 21 (ANI): Rihanna and Christina Aguilera’s raunchy performances on X Factor 2010 final have been cleared by the media watchdog despite nearly 3,000 complaints.
Both stars wore skimpy clothing and performed racy dance moves, reports the Sun.
Ofcom said Aguilera, who sang Express, from the movie ‘Burlesque’, was “at the very margin of acceptability” before the 9pm watershed.
It said: “The overtly sexual nature of the burlesque-style routine of the dancers was clearly capable of causing offence.”
But it rejected the 2,868 complaints about Rihanna and Aguilera, who sang What’s My Name.
Ofcom said broadcasters of family shows “should recognise the potential for causing offence”. (ANI)
